Jocelyn Peden
Jocelyn’s professional dance career spans an impressive 37 years. She has a passion for teaching and inspiring young dancers and loves it as much now as the day she started. She continues to create, direct and choreograph shows from the heart that leave people wanting more - and she does it all with style and grace.
Jocelyn has lived and worked throughout Europe, Japan, North America and now resides in B.C, Canada. She has worked extensively for PRP productions which has won numerous awards worldwide for their live production events. She is in her 27th year as co-owner of Fusion Dance Company and was on faculty for Triple Threat Dance Convention for 10 years. Jocelyn is a former NBA LA Laker Girl and director/choreographer of the Grizzlies Extreme Dance Team.
Her co-directing and choreography credits include: Opening & Closing Ceremonies for the Invictus Games, FIFA World Cup, Paralympics, Canada Winter & Summer Games, Transplant Games, The Gay Games, World Police & Fire Games. She has choreographed Grey Cup Half-Time Shows for One Republic, Alessia Cara, The Arkells, Dallas Smith, Hedley, Nickelback, Victoria Duffield, Johnny Reid & Bachman Turner. Other credits include: Super Stars of Drag, Juno Awards, Legoland Theme Parks, Guangzhou China World Cultural Event, National Tour of The Great Big Boo & over 22 years with the Pacific National Exhibition.
Some of her dance credits include the Rhythm Nation Project with Janet Jackson, Grease Rise of The Pink Ladies, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, the films Dudley Do Right, The Bodyguard and Toys. She has performed with such artists as Paula Abdul, Vanessa Williams, Whitney Houston, Steve Winwood & Bette Midler.
